OPEN PORTUGAL PITCH&PUTT 2018 in Braga

Open Portugal Pitch&Putt 2018 will be held from 7^th to 10^th June 2018 in Braga, one of the oldest Christian cities in the world. Host of this tournament will be Clube Golfe Braga, one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs in Portugal. Pitch&Putt has progressed a lot since the beginning and now CGB is taking it to the next level. The club has organized a lot of interesting additional activities that will give a chance to visitors to enjoy the culture and improve golf in Portugal.

MORE THAN A TOURNAMENT

Clube Golfe Braga is taking Pitch&Putt to the next level with this tournament. It wants to make sure that visitors have amazing days in Braga, so they have prepared activities besides tournament.

On the first day, participants will be a part of conference “Golf Opportunities and Challenges”. Topic of the conference will be related to relations between Golf and Tourism. Through the interactive lessons delegates will have a chance to discuss the future of golf in Portugal with some of the most influential people in this area. In the evening, it will be organized International Welcome Cocktail which is a great opportunity for visitors to meet each other and relax before tournament.

The second day, players can try out the course and practice, so they can play their best game on the tournament. After practicing, in the club will be held a Charity Pro-Am tournament. All raised funds will be donated to a local charity.

Third and fourth day will be dedicated to tournament itself. Tournament is separated into two rounds, on the third day, and the final round, on the fourth day. Each of them has 18 holes. After every round, players will have a chance to rest and refresh in the buffet.

And the best is saved for the end. In the afternoon of the last day will be organized Sunset - Tour of the city of Braga where visitors will feel all the charms of the city and its architecture. The tour will take you through the most amazing places in Braga. At the end of the day, it’s time to collect impressions during the Gala dinner. This is the time to pronounce the best players and award them for their game.

DETAILS ABOUT TOURNAMENT

The Open Portugal Pitch&Putt 2018 will be held from 7^th to 10^th June 2018 in Clube Golfe Braga. Players will have a chance to play on the Pitch&Putt course “Palmeira” – Braga. The game is 54 Holes STROKEPLAY and rules that will be applied are R & A and local rules. CGB has prepared special award for player that breaks the record of the course -5 (18 holes) which has been made by David Aguiar on 19-sep-2015.
